The PTA works hard to fund teacher and staff grant requests. In 2018 we budgeted $4,000 to use to fund 13 of the 18 grant requests that were made. Additional items that we were not able to fund at this time have been put into Amazon wish lists in the hopes families can help us purchase some of these items for classrooms. By buying something off these lists you are helping teachers and staff at Little Canada Elementary meet the needs of their students.

The Little Canada Elementary Library is a space that all LC students visit and enjoy. Books purchased off this wish list will become books well loved and read by the students at our school. These books will also be available to use in classrooms. We are always looking for great books to keep our students interested and passionate about literature while also helping them to meet their literacy goals.
The Little Canada Elementary Art room is a space that all LC students visit and enjoy. Items purchased off this wish list will become well loved and used by the students at our school. We are always looking for great items to keep our students interested and passionate about Art.
The Little Canada Elementary Music room is a space that all LC students visit and enjoy. Items purchased off this wish list will become well loved and used by the students at our school. We are always looking for great items to keep our students interested and passionate about Music.
Items on this list support special education, behavioral specialists, speech, social work, adaptive physical education and more.

A Makerspace is a place where students can go to create, explore, invent and learn. Items purchased off this wish list will become items used in the Little Canada Elementary Makerspace. These items will also be available to use in classrooms. Students will get to participate in various makerspace experiences throughout the school year. Makerspace has also been incorporated into the new science curriculum. Once purchased, these items will be available to help support and enhance these experiences for our students.
