Why does the PTA need Volunteers?

With the help of amazing parent volunteers we help build a strong school & family community by helping out during the school day and through several events throughout the school year including the Pumpkin Carnival, Read-A-Thon/Ice Cream for Books, Movie Nights, Staff/Teacher appreciation, Variety Show, Yearbook just to name a few! We understand not everyone can volunteer during school hours. Even if you can only volunteer for one event a year or handle one task per school year, it would be greatly appreciated. Being a PTA volunteer means you can connect with other parents while helping provide a wide variety opportunities to each and every student at Little Canada Elementary.
